Feyenoord boss Arn Sloat has agreed to join Tottenham after winning the Eredivisie title this season, and the 44-year-old coach’s release clause is expected to cost Spurs £6m.
Feyenoord coach Arne Sloat “has reached an agreement to become Tottenham coach”.
The 44-year-old led the Dutch side to the Eredivisie title this year and has been linked with Tottenham for quite some time.
They have been without a permanent manager since parting ways with Antonio Conte in March, a period which saw the Champions League competition fall to eighth in the league.
A solution appears to have been found, with De Telegraaf reporting that the manager is keen on joining the north London club, and talks are ongoing.
They also claim his release clause is around “£6m”, with Feyenoord unwilling to part ways with the winning manager.

Recently, though, Slot has been open about his future prospects.
He told ESPN: “My trip can also be good for the club, but if there is no dream club, I will stay. It’s common in football to talk to clubs. I’m not saying I’ve done that now, but it’s not forbidden for me to talk to other clubs.”
Feyenoord chairman Denis te Cloesy said at the time that Sloat had not been dealt with by Tottenham, but talks appeared to have progressed since then.
He wouldn’t be the first successful Dutch coach to join a major club in the Premier League, after Erik ten Hag joined Manchester United last summer after winning three league titles with Ajax.
The 53-year-old has already picked up the League Cup in his first season at Old Trafford and will claim another trophy in the FA Cup Final, while United also look poised to secure Champions League football.
Slot, who was approached by Leeds earlier this season but chose to stay at Rotterdam, began his coaching career with AZ in 2019 after a two-decade career, moving to Feyenoord in 2021.
He led them to the Europa League final in his first season, before securing their first league title since 2017 in his second season.
