Erin Krakow spoke about the renewal of “When Calls the Heart” for Season 11, saying, “We’re so excited, everyone can relax and enjoy Season 10 and not have to worry about getting Season 11 because honestly, we’re already going to shoot it.” With that said, Season 10 of When Calls the Heart will mainly focus on the fallout from Elizabeth Thatcher’s engagement to Lucas Bouchard (played by Chris McNally).
However, Season X is important for another reason. Krakow, who is also an executive producer on the show, told TV Insider that the 100th episode of “When Call the Heart” is being broadcast during the season. She noted that the episode would be memorable, saying, “It’s a celebration of our community, and we’ll get to see everyone enjoying a special new feature in Hope Valley. I will say maybe this is when we can expect to see some family. And yeah, it won’t look like a departure from our story and it won’t feel like a departure from how we usually tell stories.”
Moreover, Kraków promised great moments for Hurts next season. She told Entertainment Tonight that viewers can expect guest stars and, of course, romance. She also revealed, “There’s a bit of a life-or-death situation.” However, Hearities will have to restrain themselves to see how the drama unfolds.
