The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles during their first public outing since being evicted from Frogmore Cottage, and it showed.
Harry and Meghan were seen holding hands, smiling and laughing as they left an office building in Santa Barbara, California on Friday.
It is not known what business the couple was visiting in the compound which houses several businesses including a karate studio, hair salon, pilates studio and the Self Inquiry Life Fellowship that promotes yoga and meditation in the Himalayas.
This is the first time the couple, who were accompanied by an unknown man who is presumed to be a member of a security guard, has been spotted since the couple formally vacated the cottage at the request of King Charles III.
The cottage, which was renovated by the couple and is a Crown Estate property, was their last remaining foothold in the UK.
The King banished them from Frogmore, giving them £2.4 million in change, but only used them for six months, just days after Harry criticized his family in his Spear.

Just a day before the couple’s Santa Barbara outing, Buckingham Palace confirmed to the couple that they had finally evacuated Frogmore.
Friday’s outing was the first time Harry and Meghan had been spotted since the couple officially vacated the country home at King Charles’ request.

The Sussex family was told to move any remaining property from their five-bedroom Grade II listed cottage near Windsor Castle in January.

The cottage, which the couple renovated and is a Crown Estate property, was their last remaining foothold in the UK, and the couple now live in California.
Their departure comes as some of Britain’s top constitutional experts have raised doubts about reports that Harry’s eviction would also confirm his demotion as Foreign Office adviser.
Regardless, Harry will not actually act in this role as he no longer takes on public duties as a working member of the royal family.

The eviction also comes as Spotify opted last month not to embark on a second series of the 13-episode podcast from Meghan, which topped the streaming service’s ratings when it debuted.
Spotify and the Sussexes’ audio production company Archewell Audio released a joint statement saying they “mutually agreed to separate and are proud of the series we made together”.
But Bill Simmons, Spotify’s head of podcast innovation and monetization, condemned the couple in an episode of his podcast, saying, “This is the podcast we should have launched with them.”
“I have to drink one night and tell a Zoom story that I got with Harry to try and help him with the podcast idea. It is one of my best stories.
Following Spotify’s disposal of Archetypes and its £18m partnership with the pair, Netflix has also said it is unlikely to renew its deal with the Sussexes after it expires in 2025.
