When Princess Eugenie revealed her pregnancy, she was vague about the due date, only mentioning that the new baby would be the arrival of the summer. But during an interview with ¡HOLA! TV, as shared with Hello! magazine, excited grandmother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, responded to an inquiry about Eugenie’s pregnancy, saying, “Well, we don’t know what it is yet. But the baby is due by the end of May, I think. So it’s any minute now.”
The Duchess also shared that she’s the hilarious grandmother, “I’m probably one of the best grandmothers ever. I prefer Abuela ever because I think she’s a three-year-old.” She was referring to her writing career as the author of 48 children’s books.
When born in just two short weeks, Princess Eugenie’s baby will be 13th in line to the throne, with brother Augustus 12th. Both children will call King Charles III their great-uncle.
