Taylor Swift albums that haven’t gotten the Taylor version treatment yet

Swift plans to re-release all six of her albums—”Taylor Swift,” “Fearless,” “Speak Now,” “Red,” “1989,” and “Reputation”—that were originally recorded under Big Machine Records between 2006 and 2017. Referring to new recordings with the words “Taylor Version” in the title. In addition, Swift is adding songs from the vault, which means songs that haven’t been released yet. Taylor Swift’s first single was “You’re All Over Me”.

Prior to re-recording, Swift attempted to purchase the Masters. “I made it clear that I wanted to buy my own music. That opportunity wasn’t given to me, it was sold to someone else,” Swift said during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “So I just figured out, I make this music first, I can make it once again. So that’s what we do.”

To date, she has completed “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)”, and announced in May 2023 that a re-recording of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” will be released in July 2023. This leaves only three remaining. With every announcement of a previous album’s re-release, Taylor Swift has had her Twitter fans go into a frenzy. In addition to re-recording previous music, Swift has also released new music. Since signing her new contract with Republic Records in 2018, which allows her to have the music masters recorded under them and gives her more agency, Swift has released three new albums, “Lover,” “Folklore,” and “Midnights.”
